Flared U-Rings
Currently there are 5 different styles of Flared U-Ring construction
Type 11X - Hardest, Heavy weight fabric throughout
Type 11 - Hard, Fabric throughout (Heel & Lips)
Type 13 - Medium Hardness, Fabric throughout, less fabric density than type 11
Type HB - Soft, Fabric Heel with 80-85 Durometer Homogeneous Lips
Type HT - EPDM & Kevlar (NOTE: This style requires an extended lead time due to material availability.)
Standard U-Rings
Currently there are 2 different styles of Standard U-Ring construction
Type 2 - Softer of the two types. Constructed of a rubber core and a medium weight fabric cover
Type 5 - Harder construction style. Medium weight fabric throughout.
VEE PACKING
Standard Construction - Medium hardness, Fabric throughout.
Rock Hard Construction - Harder construction, heavier weight fabric. Construction styles can include Standard construction center rings with Rock Hard adapters or Rock Hard construction used throughout.
Note: All Vee Packing sets can be Moly Coated with a graphite based coating that facilitates ease of installation.

Standard construction material for Marvel Washers is EPDM.
